Description: This course provides students with a broad introduction into SketchUp 2017 with a focus on construction and architecturespecific applications. Students will learn how to use the software programs to model construction projects, and then create and distribute basic, industrystandard and architectural drawings.

Objectives:

1. Understanding of the power and precision of computeraided modeling and drafting.
2. Ability to construct accurate 3D shapes and surface objects.
3. Ability to create 3D representations as plan view, elevations and sections.
4. Awareness of architectural drafting with a focus on industry standards.
